Beautiful forest. My children found it to be a magical place with all of the fairy mushrooms and mossy ground. I especially enjoyed the walk from the OM centre to the Stone circles. Definitely doable with active children. Great experience.
All good overall, downside is the trail marks are missing, You can get very easily lost. The mtb trails need some cleaning of branches. The most important trail mark was pulled out from the ground and put back upside-down by someone.
A nice surprise. We walked the 5k forest Path which was pretty in a few spots. Most of the walk passed through tree cutting which was rather bleak at times.
If you were to go here for the mountain biking or to view the sky at night I think it would be amazing and I do hope to return to do the UM solar walk.
Great spot for a walk but will definitely be back to try out the cycle trails. It's definitely a great place for mountain biking with the views
Great new toilet facilities are a super upgrade to this already excellent gem in the Sperrins. A bike wash, drinking water, a play park and a wooden giant. The trail head just keeps getting better. It's a shame the cycling trails are matching the pace of development. They really are in need of some work. The last trail started never actually was finished.
Few different trails to choose from, some are for cyclists only.
Managed to visit when the snow was down which made the place even more beautiful.
Very tranquil place, just the sound of nature
Love davagh but hate the narrow roads there. Can't wait to take kids back. And really would love to be mountain biker to get most from it. Seems to be well looked after. Definitely be back.
We googled davagh and accidentally ended up at wrong entrance which isn't accessible. Go to BT79 8JH!!!!! Cost us like 20mins and much stress on the wee narrow mountain roads. See last couple of photos for the wrong entrance warning signs
Really nice tmb trails, really enjoy it.
